About STPC

Small Town Play Café is my labor of love, built from the “something’s missing” sentiment I’ve experienced in exploring local options with my boys - Cameron, 3, and Carter, 1.

As a family, we’ve frequented several play spaces, large and small, featuring imaginative, gross, and fine motor play opportunities. We love to visit places that allow our kids to stretch their imaginations, while also allowing them to learn, laugh, and meet new friends.

In discovering these new environments, I always felt like they were built with children in mind - and are amazing for kids - but often left something to be desired for the adults: the moms, dads, grandparents, nannies, and other caregivers.

My goal in building Small Town Play Café: to create an enjoyable play space for children that adults actually want to spend time in too.

So what’s it all about?

At the heart of our offering are our custom-designed play areas, catering to children ages 6 months to 6 years. Our imaginative play spaces are flexible and designed to evolve, ensuring that our guests continue to enjoy fresh and engaging experiences. We also provide a gross motor play area for older children and an enclosed soft play area for infants.

We host memorable birthday parties and other celebrations. Our range of weekly classes and special events cater to specific interests. We hope these diverse offerings will help ensure that Small Town Play Café remains a vibrant and enriching destination for families year-round and for years to come.

Our café features gourmet coffee and specialty beverages, alongside pastries, sandwiches, and delicious treats. The parents' lounge space and our outdoor patio are designed to create an atmosphere of comfort, enjoyment, and community for visitors.

While we might not be able to include everything we’ve ever dreamed of (at least not within budget), my hope is that visitors have many “wow, this space is really wonderful” moments when they stop by.

We hope our thoughtful (and fun!) design will make Small Town Play Café a usual stop in your family’s routine.

We can’t wait to meet you.

From my family to yours,

Kim Coe, Founder & HMIC (Head Mom in Charge)
