Play reservations are always HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!
We cannot accept walk-ins for open play at Small Town when we are reserved to capacity.
If there are no reservations available for the time you are looking for it means we are at capacity for that time. Please choose another time instead.

Reminder: All guests must complete our waiver. We require grip socks for kids and regular socks for all adults who enter the play area. Socks are available for purchase if needed.
Open Play Hours
Mon – Thu: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Fri: 8:00am-4:15pm
Sat – Sun: 8:00am – 12:15pm
Due to our space’s limited capacity, reservations for open play are strongly recommended.
We cannot guarantee availability for walk-in open play.

We host private birthday parties on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons outside of Open Play Hours. Please visit our party page for more information on party bookings.
Open Play Pricing
Admission: $23 + tax
Sibling Admission: $18 + tax per sibling
Our play space is designed for children ages 6 and under.
Admission includes up to 2 hours of open play (from your reserved time). Reservations are highly encouraged due to capacity.
All guests must wear socks and sign our waiver. Children’s socks must be non-slip (grippy).
We offer free admission for adults and for children under 1 year of age when accompanied by a sibling with paid admission. Due to our space’s limited capacity, please limit adult guests to no more than 2 per paid admission.
Sibling admission can only be used for siblings – no cousins, friends, or other relatives, please.
All admission sales are final. We allow play sessions to be rescheduled one time with at least 24 hours notice. Please email hello@smalltownplaycafe.com or text us at (908) 880-1267 if you need to reschedule your session.
Explore Our Play Area
Our play area balances opportunities for imaginative, gross, and fine motor play with our Small Town playhouses, climbing wall, slides, STEM area, and train table. Our enclosed “tot spot” allows our youngest guests to safely explore.
Caregivers are welcome to join their children in our play area or enjoy our comfortable café seating with open sightlines to our play space.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy our party space during open play for sensory and tactile play, a quiet moment, or a place to enjoy a delicious snack from our café.
