The Rundown
Looking for the Instaworthy Party of your dreams? Do you love to be hands-on or would you rather barely lift a finger? Either way, we’re here to help!
We would love to make your little one’s celebration one you’ll talk about for years (or at least until next year, when you book again)! Our suite of package options provides both fun and flexibility.
Not sure which package is right for you? Select any package + date/time, pay the holding deposit to secure your date and you can adjust your package in the future!

All party packages include:
- Exclusive access to the play and party areas in our space during your event
- All set up and clean up (host family may arrive 10 minutes before party start time)
- Minimum* of 1.5 hours: 60 minutes for play + 30 minutes for food/dessert
- Dedicated party specialists
- Pizza, water, and juice for kids
- Balloon decor
Note: We charge NJ sales tax + a 3.75% service fee on all parties. Pricing and package details are subject to change.
Booking Options
Friday – 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday – 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm
*30 or 60 additional minutes can be added to your party during our 5:00 pm option for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday bookings. This option must be booked in advance and costs $100/per 30 minutes.
If you’re looking for a longer party with a 1:00pm or 3:00pm start time, consider a double-booking. This option is available when any consecutive party spots are unbooked. Reach out to party@smalltownplaycafe.com for more information.
Please note that our café remains open to the public during party bookings. Our café space is separated from our play and party areas. All parties have exclusive access to the play and party areas during events.

Basic Party Package: $749
Includes up to 12 children
(additional children $20 each – up to 24 total)

Includes up to 18 children

- 2 custom balloon towers matching your color scheme
- Cupcakes in a color matching your theme + small town crunch dessert snack mix
- Pizza & coffee bar setup for adults featuring unlimited gourmet drip coffee, iced tea and bottled water for adults
Platinum Party Package (Best Value): $1999
Includes up to 24 children
- Exclusive access to the play and party areas in our space during your child’s party
- Dedicated party specialists on the day of your event
- Pizza, water, and juice for kids

- Dedicated party concierge to help bring your vision to life
- Custom theme option – choose from one of our in house themes or work with our party concierge to create a custom theme
- Themed plates, napkins, cups, tablescapes, and decor
- Decorative balloon garland + 2 custom balloon towers matching your color scheme
- Choice of themed fancy cupcakes matching your theme OR themed cake pops + small town crunch dessert snack mix

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Bring My Own Food?
Two of our packages include food for the adults (pizza for gold and pizza, wraps, salad, and fresh fruit for platinum).
We also have a suite of add-on food options through our partners, Sweet ‘N Fancy, La Famiglia Sorrento, Kirshenbaum Baking Co. and Tavola Charcuterie.
We do not allow outside food or any food from vendors outside of our preferred partners. Looking for something we don’t currently offer? Please let us know by emailing party@smalltownplaycafe.com
Can i bring my own Decor?
We do not allow helium balloons (due to our high ceilings) or outside balloon decor, as balloon decor is a service we offer.
If you’d like to bring your own plates or birthday banner it must be dropped off at the café during the week before your party so that our team can plan ahead and set them up for you on the day of your event. Alternatively, we offer a custom theme upgrade option where our team will bring your vision to life, including plates, tablescapes, banner, etc.
How many adults can we have join?
We don’t charge for adults or include a set number of adults in our packages.
We ask our guests instead to respect the capacity of our space for overall people (children+adults). We cannot exceed 65 people in total for parties (children+adults).
Keep in mind that the closer you get to this number, the more crowded the space will feel.
